Mamina Malick 28 year’s old woman of Mota village, Kamakhyanagar district of Dhenkanal. She is belongs with her Husband Raghu Malick and her children. Now she is a credible woman in her SHG. Now she has 3 acre own land.Before joining SHG Mamina Malick was a house wife. She had not good condition in her daily life. She could not maintain her basic need. With the intervention of BISWA she became aware about micro finance loan and SHG. She took micro finance loan Rs.12, 000.00 from BISWA through her SHG. BISWA provided her training about vegetable cultivation. These days, Mamina focuses her efforts on the education of her children and also her Vegetable Cultivation. Now her earning Rs.12000 this year. She is the lead decision-maker in her family and is well regarded within the community. She has developed friendships with the women in her SHG that she never had before. "Now I am self-dependent due to the SHG group and a confident person," says Mamina Malick.She will continue farming and hopes to expand her milk business. There is also talk within her SHG of pulling money and buying a Paddy Mill together. |
