Sandhya Ray is 37 years’ old woman a native of Jariguda Village of Nawarangpur district. In she belongs to landless and poor doing labour work. She is having 4 children and her husband.In this situation BISWA intervention took place and became the member of SHG. Due to virtue of become BISWA Shanti Mata SHG member, BISWA supported Rs.2000/- for doing grocery shop. It was hard to run the business with small loan and decided to discontinue the business.

At this moment SHG members discussed about her business and sanctioned Rs.10, 000/-as loan to continue the business. Then she got confidence and encouraged her spouse to continue the same business with more care. By doing the same they got good profit this time on grocery shop. Added to that they started doing telephone booth. By doing both the business they are earning Rs.3000/- per month. Now she started repayment of loans. The livelihood options delighted their lives.
